In this three-day seminar you will cover the Red Flag Rules, including the four steps to compliance. You will identify the controls necessary to protect the privacy of your customers and employees. You will discover how less popular tools such as privacy impact assessments can be leveraged with better-known processes such a risk analysis, employee awareness, and data encryption to obtain proper due care and due diligence. You will examine identity management and data surveillance along with other forms of monitoring and analyze the controls that must be in place to create safe test data. You will also learn how data warehousing and outsourcing (local or offshore) can be performed without creating privacy issues. Because safe test data is a requirement of the Payment Card Industry Security Standards, you will also focus on implementing a complete data disguise solution centered on processes and procedures. You will address present and pending US Federal regulations, state regulations, and work through an “around-the-world” session that will identify Privacy Acts in various regions.
